South Hackensack Seeks Replacement For Relocated Board President Maher

SOUTH HACKENSACK, N.J. — The South Hackensack school district is seeking a replacement for former Board of Education President Kelly Maher, who has moved to Florida with her husband.

"It was my privilege to serve on The South Hackensack Board of Education for over seven years," Maher told Daily Voice. "I greatly enjoyed my time there, especially working with my fellow board members and the entire staff of Memorial School to bring the best education possible to the students of South Hackensack."

Board members will likely seek a replacement before the January reorganization meeting.

The candidate will serve for one year but can run for election in November 2016.
